We met in 1999 through mutual friends. Although we only saw each other here and there at different parties over the next 23 years, we stayed connected—thankfully—through social media. Social media helped us realize we had a lot in common, starting with family: our number one priority is spending time with loved ones, and we both cherish being aunties.

We also share a huge passion for sports, concerts, music, and travel. It doesn’t matter that we root for opposing teams (Virg: Raiders and A’s; Kim: 49ers and Giants)—we support each other fully and cheer for the other’s team (unless we’re playing each other, of course). You’ll often find us at football, baseball, basketball, or lacrosse games, or at concerts with our besties and family. No matter where we are, we’re having the time of our lives.

Our love story proves it’s never too late—you're never too old—and the best years are still ahead. We like to think we manifested each other back into our lives; don’t ever doubt the power of Face‑stalking. The rest was pure serendipity.
